About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking qualified vendors to supply a Kit, Inlet/Discharge, Low Pressure (Item 2098537) through this procurement opportunity posted on March 30, 2026, with a submission deadline of April 6, 2026. This is a purchase order procurement for supplies requiring compliance with DART's standard Terms and Conditions, which establish mandatory delivery, payment, and contractual performance standards. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall quoted price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Time and rate of deliveries are essential to this order, with failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination by the Authority. The selected vendor must ensure all supplies are of merchantable quality, suitable for their intended use, and comply with product descriptions or specifications, while providing the most favorable commercial warranties extended to any customer. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Payment will be made on Net 30 terms, calculated 30 days from receipt of the invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

The procurement documentation does not explicitly specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) restrictions, or limitations on the types of organizations eligible to respond to this opportunity. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials. The specific budget or award value for this procurement is not disclosed in the posted opportunity details. All vendors must comply with DART's standard contractual requirements, including certification that they are not identified on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with contracts to foreign terrorist organizations and confirmation that neither they nor their affiliates boycott Israel. The procurement is governed by Texas state law with venue in Dallas County, and all submissions must be made through the BONFIRE registration system, where vendors can access the complete BidTable and project details by initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process.
