About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for a High-Pressure Inlet/Discharge Kit (Item 2098080) through a purchase order procurement process. This solicitation requires vendors to submit bids through the BONFIRE registration system, with proposal submissions due by March 18, 2026, one week from the March 11, 2026 posting date. The procurement mandates that all bids reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall quoted price, and vendors must demonstrate the ability to meet strict delivery timelines and rates specified by DART, as failure to comply may result in rejection and default termination of the order. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and contain complete details including purchase order numbers, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. DART operates under Net 30 payment terms, with payment calculated from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt date. Vendors must comply with all standard DART purchase order terms and conditions, including warranty requirements, equal opportunity employment obligations, and certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations and Israel boycotts, with dispute resolution proceeding under Dallas County, Texas jurisdiction.
The solicitation documents do not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or limitations on vendor eligibility based on organizational type, indicating that the procurement is likely open to all qualified bidders meeting DART's operational and compliance requirements. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available documentation, and no specific infrastructure or technology integration requirements are detailed in the posting materials. The notice does not disclose a stated award value or budget range for this procurement, requiring interested vendors to submit competitive bids based on their cost structures and ability to meet DART's delivery and service requirements. Interested parties should access the complete solicitation details and BidTable through the BONFIRE system and review the Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF provided in the supporting documentation section to understand all contractual obligations prior to bid submission.
