About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas is issuing a purchase order for inline filter kits, with procurement opportunity number 2098365. The solicitation was posted on March 18, 2026, with a deadline for bid submission on March 25, 2026. Bidders must register in the BONFIRE system to access complete details and the bid table, where vendors will provide pricing and response information. The procurement requires FOB Destination shipping terms with all freight costs included in the overall bid price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery timeliness is critical, with the purchase order terms specifying that time and rate of delivery are essential to the contract; seller failure to meet delivery schedules constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. All invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals, with payment terms set at Net 30 days from invoice receipt or order receipt, whichever is later. Vendors must provide commercial warranties covering merchantable quality and suitability for the intended use, and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including certifications regarding foreign terrorist organization involvement and Israel boycott compliance.
The solicitation documents do not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, incumbent vendors, or budget ranges in the available summary information. Vendors must acknowledge and comply with the complete Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority Purchase Order Terms and Conditions as outlined in the supporting documentation, which addresses acceptance procedures, inspection protocols, change management, dispute resolution, and termination rights. All pricing must include applicable federal, state, and local taxes and duties, with DART claiming exemption from Texas state and local sales and use taxes. The contracting officer retains authority to make written changes to orders with equitable adjustments made for cost or schedule impacts if claimed within 30 days of change notification. Bidders should note that DART's standard contract framework is governed by Texas law with exclusive venue in Dallas County.
