About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has issued a procurement opportunity for a specific parts replacement, specifically a ROD, ADJUSTING, LEVELING VALVE with the part number UC003981-1, referenced as bid 2093953. The contract opportunity is posted for Dallas County, Texas, with a bid posting date of July 23, 2025, and a submission deadline of August 15, 2025. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access full bid details and must submit their proposals through the platform's in-browser BidTable window. The procurement requires vendors to provide detailed pricing with FOB Destination shipping terms, ensuring freight costs are included in the overall price. Key delivery requirements mandate strict adherence to specified delivery timelines, with DART reserving the right to reject and terminate the order if delivery schedules are not met. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org, including specific documentation such as purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. DART will utilize Net 30 payment terms, processing invoices 30 days from receipt.
There are no explicit set-aside designations or specific restrictions on vendor eligibility mentioned in the available documentation. However, vendors must comply with DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which include provisions such as commercial warranty assurances, tax exemption confirmations, and certifications regarding business practices. The terms require sellers to confirm they are not conducting business with foreign terrorist organizations and are not boycotting Israel. While no specific award value or budget range is provided for this particular procurement, the opportunity appears to be for a specific replacement part for DART's transit infrastructure. The procurement is governed under Texas state law, with any legal disputes to be resolved in Dallas County. Potential vendors should carefully review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document, which provides a detailed framework for contractual interactions, including guidelines for order modifications, dispute resolutions, and equal opportunity employment standards.
