The City of Eden, North Carolina is requesting sealed bids for the Kings Highway Outfall Rehabilitation project (McKim & Creed Project 01299-0009, DWI Project SRP-W-134-0173), a rebid with bids due August 11, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. local time at City Hall. The scope spans two mobilization phases of sewer rehabilitation and inspection. First mobilization includes installation of traffic control, NASSCO Level condition assessment manhole surveys for eight manholes along Kings Highway, cleaning and flushing of eight manholes and 2,158 linear feet of gravity sewer, pre-construction CCTV inspection of 2,158 linear feet of gravity sewer, and CCTV inspection of 1,750 linear feet of an inactive sanitary force main. Second mobilization includes installation of approximately 2,158 linear feet of ultraviolet light or thermal cured-in-place pipe liner for 15-inch reinforced concrete pipe, approximately 18 linear feet of point repair replacement of 15-inch reinforced concrete pipe, rehabilitation of three separate manholes located within the North Carolina Department of Transportation right-of-way, and bypass pumping services.
