About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order for a Keeper (Lock Assembly Latch) component, identified as item number 2099019, with a posting date of April 30, 2026, and a submission deadline of May 8, 2026. This procurement involves the supply of a specific mechanical component required for DART's operations, with bidders expected to submit responses through the BONFIRE registration system. Vendors must access the detailed specifications and bid table by initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process on the procurement portal. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Timely delivery is considered essential to the order, with failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination by the Authority. Successful vendors must comply with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, including requirements for merchantable quality, product specification compliance, and provision of the most favorable commercial warranties offered to other customers.
The procurement documentation does not specify any set-aside designations, minority or disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or incumbent vendor information. Payment will be issued on Net 30 terms, calculated from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt, with invoices required in triplicate format containing purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals, to be submitted to APInvoices@dart.org. Vendors must maintain equal employment opportunity practices, certify non-involvement with foreign terrorist organizations, and confirm non-participation in boycotts of Israel per contract requirements. The contract is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, with disputes initially decided by the Contracting Officer and subject to appeal to the Authority, whose decision is final unless determined by a court to be fraudulent, capricious, arbitrary, or unsupported by substantial evidence. No award value or budget range information is provided in the available procurement documentation.
