Bids are due on May 17, 2023, at 2:00 PM CDT, with a project completion date of August 1, 2023. Potential contractors may schedule site visits by contacting the MoDOT representative, and written questions are due by April 26, 2023. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with evaluation criteria focusing on cost, compliance with specifications, and ability to meet project requirements.
The solicitation encourages participation from Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women Business Enterprises (WBE), with goals of 10% MBE and 5% WBE participation. The project requires a bid bond or security of 5% of the bid amount, with the successful bidder required to provide a 100% performance and payment bond. The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements under Missouri Annual Wage Order #29 for Ray County, and liquidated damages of $300 per day will be assessed for late completion. While no incumbent vendor is specified, the project involves replacing an existing waterline at the MoDOT Maintenance Complex located at 42896 Old Hwy 10, Richmond, MO 64085.
