About this opportunity
Stamford Public Schools (SPS) in Fairfield County, Connecticut, has issued Request for Proposal (RFP) 22-12 seeking comprehensive online assessment and data monitoring solutions for K-5 educational stakeholders. The procurement targets a robust digital platform that will provide progress monitoring, assessment data maintenance, and professional development services for Central Office Administrators, Building Administrators, Reading Teams, SRBI Teams, and K-5 Classroom Teachers. The successful vendor will be responsible for implementing a teacher-friendly online assessment and reporting program, transitioning educators from existing paper and legacy online assessment platforms. Key deliverables include professional learning services, a comprehensive online assessment solution, and a seamless transition strategy for all stakeholders. The solicitation opens on May 20, 2022, at 8:00 AM EDT and closes on June 7, 2022, at 2:30 PM EDT, with a vendor Q&A period running from May 20 to May 31, 2022. Technical questions should be directed to Amy Beldotti, Associate Superintendent Teaching & Learning, while purchasing inquiries can be addressed to Vivens Joachim, BOE Management Analyst/Purchasing Agent.
The RFP appears to be open to all vendors without specific set-aside designations or restrictions on organizational types. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are explicitly mentioned in the documentation. The solicitation does not specify an estimated total contract value or budget range, which suggests vendors should provide comprehensive solution pricing in their proposals. Payment terms are established at Net 45 Days with Free On Board Destination delivery terms. While the existing technological infrastructure is not comprehensively detailed, the RFP indicates that vendors must be capable of integrating with and replacing the district's current online assessment reporting platform. The contract appears designed to support a district-wide digital transformation of assessment monitoring and reporting processes, with a focus on creating a more user-friendly and efficient system for educational professionals.
