About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has issued a procurement opportunity for a Simplex Fiber Plastic Jumper measuring 71 inches, specifically referenced through VG Controls under reference number 2094527. The contract opportunity was posted on January 11, 2026, with a response deadline of January 15, 2026. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access detailed bidding information and must submit their proposals through the platform's in-browser BidTable window. The procurement requires compliance with specific freight and delivery terms, with FOB Destination shipping mandated and freight costs to be incorporated into the overall price. Vendors must understand that delivery timing is critical, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules could result in order rejection or default termination. Comprehensive invoice documentation is required, including purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals, with submissions directed to APInvoices@dart.org.

The contract opportunity appears to have no explicit set-aside designations or specific restrictions on responding organizations. Vendors must certify compliance with equal opportunity employment requirements and confirm they are not listed on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization ties. Additionally, vendors must certify they do not boycott Israel. The payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices processed within 30 days of receipt or order completion. While specific budget ranges are not explicitly stated, the procurement suggests a targeted acquisition for specific transit infrastructure components. The contract will be governed by Texas law, with potential legal venue in Dallas County, and DART reserves the right to terminate orders for default or convenience. Potential respondents should carefully review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document to ensure full understanding of the procurement requirements and expectations.
