This procurement does not contain federal set-asides or restrictions limiting participation to disadvantaged enterprises, though the FWC encourages diversity in procurement and requests that all subcontracting opportunities embrace diversity in accordance with the State of Florida Mentor Protege Program. Bidders submitting bids equal to or exceeding $100,000 must provide a bid guarantee of not less than five percent of the bid amount, and contractors must furnish 100% Performance Bond and 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond for contracts exceeding $100,000, along with comprehensive insurance coverage including workers' compensation, general liability, and automobile liability with specified minimum limits. The estimated project budget is $821,224.00, and liquidated damages are assessed at $250 per calendar day for delays beyond the Substantial Completion Date, with a maximum not to exceed 20 percent of the Contract Price for delays beyond the Final Completion Date. Progress payments will be made monthly at up to 95% of the portion of work completed, with five percent retainage held by the FWC, and all contractors must enroll in Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) for payment processing.
