The project encompasses comprehensive renovation of an existing 34,000 square-foot facility and construction of a new 10,000 square-foot clinical practice expansion supporting a four-year Doctor of Optometry program. The preliminary stated cost limitation is $21 million, with design anticipated to begin September 2026 and construction documents completed Fall 2027, followed by approximately 14 months to material completion.

Minimum qualifications include a Georgia General Contractor's License, current commercial general liability insurance with minimum limits of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate, commercial umbrella liability coverage of at least $5 million, sufficient bonding capacity, a current ratio of 1.0 or higher, and an Experience Modification Rating of 1.2 or less.
