About this opportunity

Gwinnett County Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting informal written quotes for recreational game equipment—34 pieces across nine line items including pool tables, air hockey tables, shuffleboard tables, and table tennis tables—with quotes due September 17, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Questions close September 14, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Addendum #1, issued September 11, modifies the 7-foot pool table specification from Brunswick Billiards model 28594710150 to model 28661710150 (Black Wolf 7' Pro); bidders must acknowledge this addendum with submission or quotes risk non-responsiveness.

The scope comprises two 7-foot pool tables, two 8-foot pool tables, four pool table accessory kits, three wall-mounted pool cue storage racks, one floor cue storage rack, two air hockey tables, two shuffleboard tables, and eighteen table tennis tables. All pool tables must use a single manufacturer; air hockey and shuffleboard tables are likewise single-source. Equivalent products are permitted if specification documentation demonstrates quality equal to or exceeding the listed items. Suppliers may submit partial quotes. Delivery and installation are required at Dacula Park (approximately October 2026) and Lenora Park (as soon as possible after purchase order receipt). All pricing must include shipping, delivery, assembly, and installation.

Bidders must provide minimum three references demonstrating successful completion of similar projects within the past five years. Insurance requirements include Commercial General Liability ($2 million aggregate), Automobile Liability ($1 million combined single limit), Workers Compensation at Georgia statutory limits, and Umbrella/Excess Liability scaled to contract value; carrier must hold A.M. Best rating A-7 or higher and authorization to do business in Georgia. Contractors must comply with Georgia's Illegal Immigration Reform Enhancements for 2013 and provide a notarized Contractor Affidavit verifying E-Verify participation or equivalent federal work authorization. Award goes to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; Gwinnett County reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, split awards, negotiate terms, and waive technicalities. Submit quotes to Casey Beauston, Purchasing Associate III, via email at casey.beauston@gwinnettcounty.com or mail to Gwinnett County Financial Services Purchasing Division, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046.
