About this opportunity
Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources is requesting informal written quotations for powered air purifying respirator kits and replacement cartridges, with quotations due July 24, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.
The scope consists of eight 3M TR-800-HIK Versaflo PAPR Heavy Industry Kits (or approved equivalent) and sixteen 3M TR-6530N Versaflo Organic Vapor/Acid/Gas/HEPA Cartridges (or approved equivalent). Replacement cartridges must include HEPA filtration to capture both vapor and aerosolized acid mist; acid gas-only cartridges are not acceptable. These devices support acid wash cleaning and acid cleaning operations at water reclamation facilities where personnel face exposure to hydrochloric acid vapor and mist.
Delivery is required to the Gwinnett County DWR Central Facility at 684 Winder Highway, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30045, Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. All unit pricing must include delivery charges on an FOB Destination Prepaid and Allowed basis, and vendors must provide the delivery timeline in their quotes.
Respondents must submit quotes electronically to Jenny.Coleman@GwinnettCounty.com or via written submittal in accordance with county procedures, including manufacturer and product numbers. Quotation requirements include minimum three references for similar projects, a non-collusion certification, and acknowledgment of receipt of all applicable addenda. Successful vendors must comply with Georgia worker verification requirements, maintain valid occupation tax certificates if operating in unincorporated Gwinnett County, and accept electronic payment methods (ePayables virtual credit card or Direct Deposit). No bid bonds are required.
