About this opportunity
The City of Rockville, Maryland is requesting bids on stormwater management facilities improvement—dredging and sediment removal at multiple locations—under IFB #34-26, with bids due July 24, 2026. The work encompasses four sites: Maryvale Park, Fallsgrove Pond #1B, Fallsgrove Pond #2, and the Gude Maintenance Yard facility at RedGate Park, all within City jurisdiction.
A 2023 bathymetry survey documented significant loss of wet storage volume across all facilities due to accumulated sedimentation. The scope is dredging to restore facilities to as-built conditions, including furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, and associated work as specified in the contract documents. The contractor bears full responsibility for equipment deployment, material handling, and site restoration across the multiple locations.
