About this opportunity
The Commonwealth of Kentucky Board of Accountancy is seeking a licensed Kentucky CPA to provide investigative services through a Personal Service Contract. The selected CPA will be required to conduct investigations of CPAs for potential violations of statutes and regulations governing the practice of public accounting. The investigator will be responsible for presenting a report, either verbal or written, to the Board upon completion of the investigative work and may be called upon to testify at administrative hearings. Proposals are due by March 21, 2024 at 4:30 PM Eastern Time. The initial contract term is anticipated to be from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2026, with the option to renew for up to two additional two-year periods. The Board will evaluate proposals based on the offeror's experience in public accounting, particularly in the attest function, as well as the proposed hourly rate for services. Offerors must hold a current Kentucky CPA license and be actively practicing public accounting in the state. The contract will be awarded to the offeror that provides the best value to the Commonwealth based on the evaluation criteria outlined in the RFP.
There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The Board has not identified any incumbent vendors or current contractors, and there is no information provided about any existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The budget range for this opportunity is not specified in the RFP.
