About this opportunity

The University of Texas at Austin is requesting proposals for inflatable services under RFP-721-26088, with proposals due June 26, 2026. The solicitation is reposted and covers multiple inflatable equipment categories including obstacle challenge, slide bouncer combo, bounce slide combo, free throw challenge, and bungee run attractions as detailed in Section 4.5 of the RFP.

Scope includes supply and delivery of multiple inflatable units to specified technical and operational standards. The RFP attachments establish detailed specifications for each inflatable component that vendors must meet or exceed. Vendors must be qualified to provide the full range of inflatable services offerings and demonstrate relevant experience and resources. Proposals must include an Execution of Offer, pricing and delivery schedule, company and financial questionnaire, and VetHUB subcontracting plan.

The contract term depends on appropriated funds availability under the University's fiscal year cycle (September 1 through August 31). The University reserves the right to terminate at the end of any fiscal year with thirty days' written notice if funds are not appropriated. Compensation is capped at a total contract amount including all service fees and reimbursable expenses, with payment within thirty days of invoice receipt and approval.

Proposers must certify compliance with federal, state, and local laws; Texas statutory requirements including tax non-delinquency, antitrust compliance, and equal employment opportunity; and University-specific prohibitions regarding boycotts of Israel, discrimination against firearm entities, business with foreign adversaries, and COVID-19 vaccination requirements. All submitted materials become non-confidential and subject to public disclosure under the Texas Public Information Act upon contract execution, except information protected under specific Government Code sections. The University reserves the right to select a contractor based on initial proposals without discussion or negotiation, establish a competitive range for best and final offers, or reject all proposals and re-solicit.
