The scope encompasses all labor, tools, and local supervision for preventative maintenance on DOT&PF-owned equipment, building structures, and roadways at the airport facility, including runways, taxiways, aprons, safety areas, access roads, lighting systems, wind cones, and state buildings. The State may renew the contract for up to five additional one-year periods by mutual written agreement. Contractors awarded the contract must furnish performance and payment bonds at 50% of contract value each. Annual price adjustments based on Consumer Price Index (CPI-U) are permitted upon written request 30 days prior to renewal dates. No Davis-Bacon wages apply, as this is a state-funded project with no federal funding. The Department reserves the right to terminate the contract with seven days' notice for non-compliance, unsuitable work performance, or insufficient legislative funding.
