IFB; soap, hand, liquid

Henrico County and Rose Hill CDP are seeking competitive bids for a term contract to procure liquid hand soap through an Invitation for Bid (IFB) process. The procurement, identified by the unique contract opportunity ID 66c4d9f13be00e0a0f0ff957, was initially posted on April 8, 2008, with bid submissions due by April 23, 2008. The solicitation specifically targets the acquisition of liquid hand soap for county and local district use, indicating a standard supply contract for municipal hygiene and cleaning needs. While the document provides limited details about specific product requirements, the IFB suggests a standardized procurement approach for essential janitorial or sanitation supplies. The bid appears to be a straightforward, time-limited contract opportunity focused on meeting ongoing liquid hand soap requirements for local government facilities.

The procurement documentation does not explicitly outline set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise provisions, or specific vendor restrictions. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available information. Similarly, the document lacks specific budget ranges or potential award values for the liquid hand soap contract. The procurement appears to be a standard municipal supply acquisition without notable special designations or complex qualification requirements. Given the limited information provided, potential bidders would likely need to contact Henrico County procurement officials directly to obtain additional details about qualifications, evaluation criteria, or specific product specifications. The brief nature of the contract opportunity description suggests a relatively uncomplicated, straightforward bidding process for a basic municipal supply contract.
