About this opportunity

The Superior Court of California, County of Sutter is seeking bids for armored car services with proposals due July 23, 2026. Vendors must quote new products only; used, refurbished items, and alternate brands are not acceptable.

The scope encompasses deposit pickups from the Sutter Courthouse at 1175 Civic Center Boulevard, Yuba City, California, with weekly delivery service to the Bank of America Central Cash Vault at frequencies ranging from one to five times per week, plus off-day service options. The Court may add additional locations through a Participating Addendum. Vendors may respond to all or some line items, but the Court reserves the right to award the entire contract to a single vendor and is not obligated to consider partial bids.

All pricing must be all-inclusive except for applicable taxes, with prices valid for 90 days. Respondents must complete the Cost Proposal form by providing base rates per month for each delivery frequency option, describing any additional fees such as fuel surcharges or excess wait-time charges, and stating the liability limit in dollars for each deposit pickup. Failure to input all requested information directly onto provided documents may result in bids being deemed non-responsive.

The model agreement establishes a maximum contract sum with compensation through pricing and billing schedules detailed in Exhibit B. Contract term runs through a specified expiration date with provisions for extensions by mutual consent through formal amendment, plus an additional six-month monthly extension option. The Court requires comprehensive insurance coverage including workers' compensation, commercial general liability of $1–2 million per occurrence, commercial automobile liability, professional liability, and cyber liability insurance depending on contract scope. Contractors must comply with prevailing wage regulations for public works contracts exceeding $25,000 and provide background checks for staff accessing court facilities. The agreement incorporates specific provisions addressing generative artificial intelligence use, requiring immediate disclosure of any GenAI implementation that materially impacts court systems with potential contractor liability for undisclosed or non-compliant AI deployment.
