The contractor provides all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to keep approximately 2,500 linear feet of fire service ladders compliant with NFPA 1932, manufacturer recommendations, and CAL FIRE requirements at the Atwater Training Center in Atwater, California. Annual inspection and testing must recur within twelve months of the previous service. On-demand repairs require 24-hour acknowledgment and 72-hour on-site response, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding State holidays. Listed jurisdictions include Merced City, Madera Ranchos CDP, Mariposa County, Merced County, and Madera Acres CDP.

The estimated term runs December 1, 2026 through November 30, 2029. Pricing combines a cost per linear foot multiplied by 2,500 linear feet with a three-year multiplier, a $40,000 allocation for additional service calls, and a technician hourly rate. Bids will be evaluated on the lowest responsive responsible bidder methodology. Required insurance includes Commercial General Liability of not less than $1 million per occurrence, Workers' Compensation with Waiver of Subrogation, and Commercial Automobile Insurance of not less than $1 million. Bidders must submit the Payee Data Record (STD 204), Contractor Certification Clauses (CCC 04/2017), Darfur Contracting Act Certification, and California Civil Rights Laws Attachment.
