About this opportunity
Cumberland County, North Carolina through its Central Maintenance Department is requesting bids on two 2027 Chevrolet Tahoe Police Pursuit Vehicles (PPV) under IFB #27-14-CMF, with bids due September 28, 2026 at 9:00 AM EST and questions due September 22, 2026 at 12:00 PM EST.
Both vehicles must be four-wheel drive with 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 gas engines, 10-speed automatic transmissions, law enforcement wiring packages, pursuit-rated tires, and specified interior and seating configurations. The vehicles differ only in exterior paint color: one Lakeshore Blue Metallic and one Woodland Green. Bidders must submit detailed quotes with specification sheets confirming compliance, complete Execution of Bid and Certification of Financial Condition forms with authorized signatures, and provide at least three references for similar services. One signed original bid response and one electronic copy on a flash drive must be physically delivered to the Cumberland County Purchasing Office, 117 Dick Street, 4th Floor, Room 451, Fayetteville, NC 28301; public bid opening occurs immediately after the deadline.
The County will award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder and reserves the right to reject all bids, request best and final offers, or make separate awards to different vendors. Bid pricing must be all-inclusive of shipping and other charges with sales tax excluded; vendors should identify any available prompt payment discounts. The contract term extends until all commitments are fulfilled beginning from the award date, contingent on continued funding and appropriation by the Cumberland County Board of Commissioners on a year-to-year basis. The County pays invoices net thirty calendar days after approval and may terminate the contract with thirty days' written notice. Standard compliance requirements include E-Verify verification, Iran Divestment Act certification, non-boycott of Israel certification, and insurance and indemnification obligations. No bidder's conference is scheduled.
