About this opportunity
Paragraph 1:
This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Monitoring and Laboratory Division (MLD) for the removal and disposal of two trailers located in Sonora and Paradise, California. CARB is seeking a Contractor to load, transport, and dispose of the trailers, as well as perform electrical work at the Sonora location to prepare for a new monitoring enclosure. The Contractor must provide all necessary heavy equipment, including a forklift and transportation vehicle, and have appropriate licenses to operate the equipment. Bids are due by April 16, 2024 at 3:00 pm PST and must be submitted electronically. The contract term is from May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2026, with the potential for a time extension if the Contractor performs satisfactorily. CARB's budget for this project is $30,000, and bids that exceed this amount may be deemed non-responsive and ineligible for award. The Contractor must meet minimum qualifications, including owning or having access to the required heavy equipment and being able to perform the electrical work at the Sonora location.
Paragraph 2:
The IFB does not mention any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. Additionally, no incumbent vendors or current contractors are listed, and there are no indications of existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The total award value is not explicitly stated, but CARB's budget for this project is $30,000. Bids that exceed this amount may be deemed non-responsive and ineligible for award.
