IDIQ-Civil Engineering Design Services

The University of North Texas System (UNTS) is seeking to establish an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for civil engineering design services for its facilities and component institutions located within Denton County and Denton City, Texas. The scope of the IDIQ agreement includes limited and full civil engineering project design services, technical studies, site analysis, reports, technical construction inspection, and other related professional services. UNTS intends to select multiple vendors through this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process, with qualifications due by 2:00 p.m. CDT on April 2, 2024. The IDIQ agreement will have an initial term of 36 months, with two optional one-year renewal terms, and an individual service order cap of $300,000 and a cumulative total value not to exceed $900,000 over the entire term. Evaluation criteria for selecting the most qualified firm(s) will be based on relevant experience, capabilities, project approach, and other factors.

The RFQ does not require any specific forms beyond the qualifications submittal, and UNTS will only award one IDIQ contract per firm rather than multiple IDIQ contracts for different service types. HUB subcontracting requirements will be determined on a project-by-project basis when work is assigned under the IDIQ contract. The RFQ does not mention any incumbent vendors or current contractors, and no specific budget range is provided, though the contract value limitations are noted.
