The Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources is soliciting bids for the provision and delivery of live Striped Bass Hybrids for stocking in three locations - Pulaski County, Smyth County, and Spotsylvania County. The contract requires the delivery of 157,500 fish sized 2 to 3 inches in length, with no fish less than 2.0 inches, to be delivered in a single lot by August 29, 2024 to the Buller Fish Hatchery, Claytor Lake State Park Boat Ramp, and Lake Anna State Park. Bidders must indicate in their response whether they are selecting Option A or Option B for fish health testing, and preference may be given to those selecting Option A.
