About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking qualified vendors to supply a hub assembly (part number 2098144, identified as "WAS-21") through this purchase order opportunity posted on February 27, 2026, with a submission deadline of March 6, 2026. This procurement involves the supply of a specific mechanical or structural component critical to DART's transit operations, though detailed specifications and technical drawings are accessible only through the Bonfire registration platform by initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process and accessing the in-browser BidTable. Vendors must submit bids that reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with all freight costs included in the overall quoted price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. All deliverables are subject to inspection and acceptance at the destination, and time and rate of delivery are considered essential contract elements, with seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules serving as grounds for rejection and default termination. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals, with payment issued 30 days from invoice receipt or 30 days from order receipt, whichever is later, unless alternative payment terms are agreed upon in writing.

While the procurement opportunity does not explicitly reference set-aside designations for disadvantaged or minority-owned enterprises in the available summary information, all vendors must comply with equal opportunity employment practices, certify non-affiliation with entities on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization contracts, and certify that neither they nor their affiliates boycott Israel. The contract is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and DART retains the authority to make written changes to orders with equitable adjustments available to price or delivery schedules if changes incur additional costs or time requirements, provided claims for adjustment are submitted within 30 days of change order receipt. Sellers must ensure their supplies are of merchantable quality, suitable for intended use, and comply with product descriptions and specifications, with coverage provided by the most favorable commercial warranties offered to any customer. No incumbent vendor or current contractor information has been disclosed in the available documentation, and no specific budget range or award value has been published for this procurement opportunity.
