About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has issued a procurement opportunity for a specific hose assembly, identified as HOSE ASSY, AIR MOTOR TRUCK BOLSTER SMALL with solicitation number 2095917. This procurement is located within Dallas County and the City of Dallas, Texas, with a bid submission deadline of October 23, 2025. The contract appears to be for a specialized component, likely related to transit vehicle maintenance or infrastructure support. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access full bid details and are required to submit comprehensive documentation including detailed pricing, specifications, and compliance with DART's purchase order terms. The procurement emphasizes strict delivery terms, noting that time and delivery rates are critical, and failure to meet specified delivery parameters could result in rejection or default termination. Vendors must prepare bids reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and must adhere to DART's specified invoicing and documentation requirements.
The solicitation does not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged business enterprises. Payment terms are clearly defined as Net 30, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org and requiring specific documentation including purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The procurement includes comprehensive terms regarding commercial warranties, equal opportunity employment practices, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Notably, the terms include specific provisions about not conducting business with foreign terrorist organizations and certifications regarding business relationships. While a specific award value is not mentioned, vendors should be prepared to provide competitive pricing for the specialized hose assembly. The procurement process requires detailed documentation and compliance with DART's extensive purchase order terms and conditions, which are available in the attached PDF document for comprehensive review by potential vendors.
