About this opportunity
Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners Procurement Department is soliciting quotes under RFQ #27-0019/RR for hood fire suppression system inspection, certification, and repair services on a term contract, with questions due November 18, 2026 and quotes due November 25, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Palm Beach County local time. Small Business Development Program requirements apply to the non-federally funded portions, and the County provides preferences for certified SBE vendors within 10 percent of the lowest responsive bid and for vendors with permanent places of business in Palm Beach County or the Glades.
The County seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive fire system services on an ongoing basis. Quoters and any subcontractors must be registered in the County's Vendor Self Service system. Personnel accessing County facilities require E-Verify compliance and criminal history record checks, and all deliverables must meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA. The quotation must be signed by an authorized company agent, and failure to sign designated areas constitutes cause for rejection.
Subcontracting compliance runs through the Office of Small Business Development Schedules 1 through 4. Schedule 1 accompanies the bid and identifies all subcontractors, their SBE or non-SBE status, and their dollar amounts or percentages of work. Schedule 2 requires detailed work descriptions and dollar amounts for each subcontractor, including second- and third-tier subcontractors. Schedules 3 and 4 accompany payment requests, with Schedule 4 documenting actual subcontractor payments and requiring notarization. All schedules must be signed and dated.
Pricing must remain firm for ninety days from submission and throughout the initial and subsequent contract terms, with unit prices quoted to two decimal points. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes and to waive minor irregularities. The opportunity was posted November 5, 2026.
