Work locations are throughout Greenwich.
Bidders must submit a 10 percent bid bond with sealed bids (one original and two copies) and furnish performance, maintenance, and payment bonds in the full amount of the bid within 10 days of award. The contractor must commence work within 10 business days of receiving notice to proceed and complete all work within 270 calendar days; work extending beyond 270 days incurs a time charge of $1,500 per day. Mobilization and demobilization are capped at 5 percent of line items 1a through 13. Bid security includes allowances of $150,000 for unspecified work and $10,000 for water usage. An optional pre-bid conference and limited site walk will precede bid opening. Non-Connecticut contractors must comply with state bonding requirements.
