The Town of Holliston, Massachusetts is soliciting sealed bids through Invitation for Bid for the removal, purchase, and replacement of nine windows at the Holliston Fire Department building at 59 Central Street, with bids due December 4, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Written questions are due November 25, 2026. The contract carries workforce participation goals of 15.3% for minorities and 6.9% for women, and the Town will award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

The contract is subject to Massachusetts prevailing wage requirements under General Laws Chapter 149, Sections 26 and 27, with certified payroll submitted weekly. Bidders must submit a completed Bid Form with all pricing, including delivery, and no price adjustments or fuel surcharges are permitted. Bids must remain firm for ninety calendar days after opening. A bid deposit of at least 5% of the proposed work value, payable to the Town of Holliston, is required. The successful bidder must furnish a payment bond for 50% of the contract amount within ten days of award notification and enter the Town's Standard Form Agreement, which assesses liquidated damages of $1,000 per calendar day for late completion.
Insurance minimums include commercial general liability of $1 million per occurrence and $3 million annual aggregate, motor vehicle liability of $500,000 per person and $1 million per accident, and workers' compensation at state-required levels.
