Herbicide

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is soliciting quotes for the procurement of 300-400 cases of 48-54% glyphosate formulation herbicide, such as Roundup ProMax 48.7% AI or MadDog 5.4 54% AI, to be delivered by August 31, 2024. Proposals must be submitted in person at the Senator West "Doing Business Texas Style Spot Bid Fair" in Irving, Texas on May 14-15, 2024, by 2:30 PM CT. TPWD will award a contract to the respondent whose quote represents the best value, with consideration given to factors such as lowest price, technical capabilities, delivery schedule, and past performance. The herbicide must be new and covered by the manufacturer's warranty, and pricing must be FOB destination, including all applicable shipping and freight charges. TPWD reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity ordered prior to award based on bid results and budget constraints.

The contract will be awarded to the successful bidder and will commence upon issuance and automatically expire upon the agreed delivery date and final acceptance by TPWD. The RFQ does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The incumbent vendor or current contractor information is not provided, and there is no mention of any existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The award value or budget range is also not disclosed in the RFQ.
