About this opportunity
Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners, Purchasing Department, issued Request for Quotation (RFQ) #250602/ZG on June 26, 2019, for a term contract to supply headsets, equipment, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) replacement parts from three specified manufacturers: David Clark Company, FireCom, and Setcom Corporation. The procurement seeks quotations for the purchase and delivery of these products, with submissions due by 4:00 p.m. on July 17, 2019, via fax or email to the Palm Beach County Purchasing Department. All equipment must be new, of current manufacture at the time of RFQ submission, and carry factory warranties. Pricing must consist of a single fixed percentage discount from current manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) lists, with the same discount applicable to both delivered items and items picked up by authorized County personnel, and no separate shipping charges are permitted. The contract will be awarded on an item-by-item basis to the responsive and responsible quoter offering the greatest single fixed percentage discount from current MSRP lists. Delivery is required within four calendar days after receipt of a delivery order for stock items and ten calendar days for non-stock items, with no minimum order requirements imposed on the County.
Palm Beach County will accept bids from vendors certified as Small/Minority/Women-Owned Businesses (S/M/WBE), with preference given to local businesses maintaining a permanent place of business in Palm Beach County or the Glades. All vendors must register in the County's Vendor Self Service (VSS) system and comply with the Commercial Non-Discrimination Policy, public records requirements, criminal history records checks, public entity crimes certification, and drug-free workplace certification. The resulting term contract shall be for a period of sixty months or until the estimated contract value is expended at the County's discretion, with an anticipated contract value of $85,000. The County reserves the right to increase or decrease the anticipated contract value as necessary and to rebid at any time after the anticipated value has been reached. Payment will be rendered only upon the County's satisfaction and acceptance of delivered items, with invoices required to include catalog numbers, descriptions, list prices, discounted prices, and quantities for each item.
