About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure headsets and TCC consoles specifically from Plantronics through a competitive solicitation process, with reference number 2095368. The procurement opportunity is focused on acquiring specific communication equipment, with a bid submission deadline of September 16, 2025. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access full bid details and must submit responses through the online bidding platform. All submissions are required to reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall pricing. DART has established strict delivery expectations, noting that time and delivery rates are critical, and failure to meet specified delivery requirements could result in order rejection or default termination. Vendors must adhere to specific invoice submission guidelines, including sending triplicate invoices to APInvoices@dart.org with comprehensive documentation such as purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

The procurement opportunity appears to have standard competitive bidding parameters without specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises explicitly mentioned in the available documentation. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices to be paid 30 days from receipt of invoice or order completion. While a specific budget range is not disclosed, the procurement is for communication equipment in the Dallas County jurisdiction. Vendors must comply with DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which include equal opportunity requirements, restrictions on order assignment, and certifications regarding business practices. The solicitation suggests potential vendors must demonstrate capability to provide high-quality communication equipment meeting DART's operational standards. Prospective bidders should carefully review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF for full detailed requirements, as the document provides extensive guidelines on contractual expectations, warranty provisions, and potential remedies for non-compliance.
