HA0 - FY12 all-girls baseball equipment

The District of Columbia Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking to procure baseball equipment specifically for all-girls athletic programs through this state contract opportunity. The procurement is focused on obtaining necessary baseball equipment to support and enhance athletic programming for female participants. The contract was posted on December 13, 2011, with a very short response window, closing on December 16, 2011, which indicates an urgent or time-sensitive procurement need. While specific details about the exact equipment are not provided, the solicitation suggests a comprehensive set of baseball-related items required to outfit all-girls teams or programs. The procurement appears to be a direct acquisition process with a narrow timeframe for potential vendors to submit proposals or quotes.

No specific set-aside designations or restrictions on vendor qualifications are explicitly mentioned in the provided documentation. The contract does not indicate preferences for disadvantaged business enterprises or specify any particular vendor qualifications beyond the ability to supply baseball equipment for all-girls programs. Similarly, no incumbent vendors or existing contractual information is disclosed in the available details. The documentation lacks specific budget ranges or potential award values for this equipment procurement. The brevity of the contract opportunity description suggests this might be a relatively modest procurement focused on supplying necessary baseball equipment to support the District of Columbia's Parks and Recreation department's all-girls athletic programming initiatives.
