About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting a procurement opportunity identified as GUIDE, LEFT, CASHBOX with solicitation number 2097251, which was posted on December 23, 2025, with submissions due on the same date. The contract opportunity requires vendors to submit proposals through the Bonfire registration platform, with specific attention to detailed requirements in the BidTable window. Potential vendors must adhere to strict delivery and payment terms, including FOB Destination shipping with freight costs included in overall pricing. DART mandates that delivery times and rates are critical, with failure to meet specified schedules potentially resulting in order rejection and default termination. Invoicing must be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate, containing specific documentation including purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Payment terms are established as Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt of invoice or order.

While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, vendors must comply with various regulatory requirements including equal opportunity employment provisions and certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations and Israel boycotts. The procurement is specifically bounded to Dallas County, Texas, with all legal matters subject to Texas law and Dallas County venue. The attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document indicates that sellers must warrant supplies and services are of merchantable quality and suitable for intended purposes. Vendors are required to provide the most favorable commercial warranties available and must comply with all product descriptions and specifications referenced in the order. Though no specific budget range is provided in the documentation, the procurement appears to be a structured, formal acquisition process with comprehensive compliance expectations for potential vendors.
