About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has issued a procurement opportunity for a specific type of industrial lubricant: GREASE, SILICONE, #55, 5.3 OZ, (NLGI #2), identified by solicitation number 2096852. The procurement is located in Dallas County, Texas, with a bid posting date of December 9, 2025, and a response deadline of December 16, 2025. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access full bid details and must submit responses through the platform's in-browser BidTable window. The procurement requires vendors to provide the specified grease product with FOB Destination shipping terms, meaning freight costs must be included in the overall pricing. DART mandates strict delivery performance, with time and rate of deliveries considered essential, and reserves the right to reject and terminate the order if delivery specifications are not met. Vendors must adhere to DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which are detailed in the attached PDF document.

The procurement appears to have no specific set-aside designations or restrictions on vendor participation. However, vendors must meet several compliance requirements, including providing commercial warranties ensuring product quality and merchantability, maintaining equal opportunity employment practices, certifying they do not boycott Israel, and verifying they are not listed on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with contracts to foreign terrorist organizations. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org and containing specific detailed information such as purchase order number, item number, description, quantities, and pricing. While no specific award value is mentioned for this particular solicitation, vendors should be prepared to provide the specified grease product meeting DART's precise technical specifications. All contractual disputes will be governed by Texas law, with venue specifically designated in Dallas County.
