About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of grease guns, pistol type with 18-inch flexible nozzles, identified by specification number 33 STR | 2097565. This purchase order opportunity, posted on January 21, 2026, requires all interested vendors to submit bids by January 28, 2026. The deliverable consists of grease guns meeting the specified pistol-type configuration with flexible nozzles suitable for DART's operational maintenance needs. Vendors must comply with all DART Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which establish the contractual framework governing performance, delivery, and acceptance criteria. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Timely delivery is essential to the contract, with seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. Vendors must demonstrate compliance with commercial warranty requirements covering merchantable quality and suitability for intended use, and must provide all necessary inspections and tests to substantiate compliance with specifications.

The procurement document does not explicitly reference specific set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises, minority-owned businesses, or other designated categories, though vendors must certify compliance with equal opportunity provisions and verify that neither they nor their affiliates appear on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization connections or boycott Israel. No incumbent vendors, current contractors, or existing infrastructure integration requirements are identified in the available procurement materials. DART's standard payment terms are Net 30, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and payment issued 30 days from receipt of invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later. The specific award value or budget range for this grease gun procurement is not disclosed in the publicly available contracting opportunity documentation, and vendors must access the BONFIRE registration system and in-browser BidTable to obtain detailed project specifications and submission requirements.
