About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure GREASE, EP2, 14.1 OZ, CARTRIDGE with the specific item number 2097005. This procurement opportunity is located in Dallas County, Texas, and was posted on December 9, 2025, with proposals due by December 17, 2025. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access detailed bidding information and must submit proposals through the platform's in-browser BidTable window. The procurement requires strict adherence to specific delivery and shipping terms, specifically FOB Destination shipping with freight costs included in the overall price. Vendors must understand that time and rate of deliveries are critical, and failure to meet delivery specifications could result in order rejection and default termination. DART has established specific invoice submission requirements, mandating triplicate submissions to APInvoices@dart.org with comprehensive documentation including purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.
While no specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are explicitly mentioned in the documentation, vendors must comply with several key contractual provisions. The purchase order is subject to DART's standard Terms and Conditions, which include equal opportunity employment provisions and certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations and Israel boycotts. Payment terms are strictly Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt or order receipt, whichever is later. The contract will be governed under Texas law, with venue designated in Dallas County. Though the specific award value is not specified for this procurement, vendors should be prepared to provide commercial warranties ensuring merchantable quality and suitability for intended use. The Contracting Officer retains significant discretion, including the ability to terminate orders for default or convenience, with any equitable adjustment claims limited to 30 days from change order receipt.

In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12.
