About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of grease in 14.1 ounce cartridge format under purchase order number 2097616. This is a supplies procurement opportunity posted on January 21, 2026, with a bid due date of January 28, 2026. While specific quantities and delivery schedules are not detailed in the available documentation, vendors must submit bids through the BONFIRE registration system and access the in-browser BidTable to review project details and submit their responses. All bids and quotes must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and vendors must demonstrate their ability to meet strict delivery timelines, as failure to deliver according to the specified rate and schedule constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. Vendors are required to comply with DART's standard Net 30 payment terms, submit invoices in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org with complete documentation including purchase order numbers, item numbers, descriptions, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals, and ensure that all supplied grease meets commercial warranty requirements for merchantable quality and suitability for intended use.
The procurement opportunity is subject to Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority's comprehensive Terms and Conditions, which mandate compliance with equal opportunity provisions, Texas tax exemptions, anti-terrorism certifications, and Israel boycott prohibitions. No specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises or restrictions on organizational types are identified in the available documentation. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are listed in the provided materials. All disputes arising from contract performance will be governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and the Contracting Officer retains authority to make changes to orders with equitable adjustments for cost or time impacts. The specific award value or budget range for this procurement is not disclosed in the available documentation.

In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12.
