About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order for Grease, Door Bearing (Opportunity #2098874) in Dallas County, Texas. This procurement involves the supply of specialized bearing grease components for transit operations. The contract is subject to DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which establish strict compliance requirements for all vendor submissions. Delivery timelines are considered essential to contract performance, and vendors must understand that failure to meet specified delivery times and rates constitutes grounds for order rejection and default termination by the Authority. The procurement requires FOB Destination shipping terms with all freight costs included in the overall quoted price, as DART does not typically accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Bids are due on April 27, 2026, with registration in the Bonfire system required to access detailed specifications and the bidding table. Interested vendors must initiate the "Prepare Your Submission" process to locate the in-browser BidTable window and view complete project details and vendor response fields.

The solicitation documents do not specify any particular set-asides or restrictions limiting bidder eligibility to disadvantaged enterprises or minority-owned businesses. All vendors submitting proposals must comply with DART's standard contractual requirements, including Net 30 payment terms, certification regarding foreign terrorist organization affiliations, Israel boycott prohibitions, equal employment opportunity compliance, and adherence to Texas law and Dallas County venue requirements. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Vendors are required to provide commercial warranties ensuring merchantable quality and specification compliance. The solicitation does not identify any incumbent vendors, existing infrastructure requirements for integration, or specific award values or budget ranges in the posted materials.
