About this opportunity
The Rose Bowl Operating Company (RBOC) is seeking a Golf Cart Supplier to provide golf carts for events at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles County, California. The procurement is for a comprehensive golf cart rental and service contract covering major and enterprise events, with an initial one-year term beginning July 1, 2024, and two potential one-year renewal options. The successful bidder must supply multiple types of electric golf carts and gas industrial UTVs, including six-seater, four-seater, and flatbed models, to support approximately 25 Major Events (with over 20,000 attendees) and 15 Enterprise Events annually. Golf carts must be no older than two years and capable of being provided within 72 hours of request. The bid requires electronic submission through the City's eProcurement Portal by 12:00 pm on March 14, 2024, with a deadline for questions on March 6, 2024. Pricing will be evaluated based on the lowest Grand Total Price, with potential annual price adjustments limited to the Consumer Price Index (not exceeding 3%).
The contract includes several set-aside and compliance requirements, including Equal Employment Opportunity practices and potential Living Wage Ordinance compliance for contracts over $25,000. Bidders must provide a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) from SAM.gov, and failure to do so may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. The successful vendor will be required to make an annual $12,500 investment in premium seating inventory, stadium sponsorship, or Legacy donor pledge. While specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises are not explicitly detailed, the documentation includes comprehensive federal compliance requirements, including HUD Section 3 guidelines that prioritize employment and economic opportunities for low- and very low-income persons. Invoicing will be processed with payments made within 30 days of receipt, and the contract may require compliance with local business license regulations. Although a specific budget range is not provided, the contract represents a significant opportunity for golf cart providers to service a high-profile venue hosting major sporting and entertainment events.
