About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is procuring large, orange nitrile gloves, 8 mil thickness, in boxes of 100 units through an urgent procurement posted on February 9, 2026, with a due date of February 11, 2026. This procurement will be awarded based on a combined assessment of price and product availability, with all freight and delivery costs required to be included in the quoted unit price on an FOB Destination basis. Respondents must register in the BONFIRE procurement system to access bid details and the vendor response table. The seller must warrant that supplies are of merchantable quality, suitable for intended use, and comply with specifications, and must certify non-affiliation with designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations and commit to not boycott Israel. Delivery terms are critical to this order, with time and rate of deliveries being essential elements; seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. Payment will be made on Net 30 terms, calculated from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt date, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org containing purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

The solicitation does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions limiting the types of organizations that may respond, nor does it identify disadvantaged enterprise requirements or incumbent vendors. No existing infrastructure or technology integration requirements are detailed in the opportunity documentation. The procurement does not provide a stated budget range or award value; however, given the urgent nature and the commodity nature of the procurement (standard industrial gloves), awards are likely to be driven primarily by competitive pricing and demonstrated product availability and delivery capability. All purchase orders are subject to DART's standard terms and conditions, which are governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and include provisions for changes with equitable adjustment claims due within 30 days, dispute resolution through the Contracting Officer with appeal rights, and termination rights for default or convenience.
