About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas, is soliciting bids for a procurement opportunity involving glass windscreens and end driver items, specifically referencing Film 09-630-012 under Purchase Order 2097466. The procurement is structured as a purchase order with specific requirements for vendors, including mandatory FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs integrated into the overall price. Potential bidders must complete registration through the Bonfire system to access detailed bid specifications and project information. The procurement emphasizes strict delivery timelines, with seller performance critical to contract compliance and potential default termination for missed deadlines. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate, including comprehensive documentation such as purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The contract will be governed by Texas state law, with venue established in Dallas County, and requires vendor certification of compliance with federal regulations.
While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, the procurement appears open to qualified vendors who can meet DART's technical and performance requirements. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, calculated from the later of invoice or order receipt. The contract includes provisions for sellers to provide merchantable quality supplies suitable for intended purposes and comply with product specifications. Vendors must certify compliance with federal foreign terrorist organization lists and agree not to boycott Israel during the agreement term. Though exact award value is not specified, the procurement suggests a focused, potentially moderate-scale acquisition of glass and windscreen components for DART's transit infrastructure. Interested vendors should carefully review the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF and utilize the Bonfire registration process to access comprehensive bidding details and response requirements.
