About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order for glass windscreen center door components (Film 09-630-013) in Dallas County, Texas. This procurement involves the supply of specialized automotive glass components with delivery terms that are critical to the contract performance. All bids must be submitted with FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and vendors must demonstrate the ability to meet strict delivery schedules as specified in the purchase order. The solicitation requires vendors to register in the BONFIRE system to access complete project details and the bid table, where they will submit their pricing proposals in response fields available through the in-browser interface. The posted date for this opportunity is March 31, 2026, with a bid due date of April 7, 2026, providing a seven-day response window for interested vendors to prepare and submit their proposals. Vendors must comply with DART's non-negotiable purchase order terms and conditions, including commercial warranty requirements, equal opportunity employment provisions, and certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations and Israel boycott restrictions under Texas law.
The procurement documentation does not specify whether set-aside designations or restrictions apply to disadvantaged enterprises or particular business categories for this solicitation. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available contract documentation, and no specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the posted opportunity materials. All successful vendors must adhere to DART's Net 30 payment terms, with invoices to be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and payment issued thirty days from invoice receipt or thirty days from order receipt, whichever is later, unless alternative payment arrangements are negotiated in writing. DART retains the authority to terminate orders for default if sellers fail to meet delivery schedules or performance requirements, or for convenience when deemed in the Authority's best interest, making timely and reliable delivery essential to contract success.
