About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is procuring glass window lowering services with film application for units measuring 31 feet and 40 feet in length, referenced as GLASS WINDOW #2 LOWER WITH FILM 31 FT & 40 FT (Ref 2097189). This is a purchase order-based procurement issued by Dallas County, Texas, with a submission deadline of April 10, 2026, following a posting date of April 7, 2026. Vendors must register with the BONFIRE system to access complete project details and the bid table, where they will find specifications and response fields. The procurement requires adherence to strict delivery schedules, with time and rate of deliveries deemed essential to the order; failure to meet specified delivery terms may result in rejection and default termination. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and vendors must comply with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which govern all aspects of performance, inspection, acceptance, and warranty requirements. Sellers are required to provide commercial warranties ensuring merchantable quality and suitability for intended use, and must demonstrate compliance with equal employment opportunity requirements and certification that they are not listed on the Texas Comptroller's foreign terrorist organization list.
The procurement documents do not specify set-aside designations or restrictions limiting participation to particular enterprise categories, indicating that this opportunity is generally open to qualified vendors. No incumbent vendors, current contractors, or existing infrastructure integration requirements are identified in the available documentation. Payment terms are established at Net 30, with invoices due 30 days from receipt of invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later, and invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org with supporting purchase order and itemization details. The specific award value or budget range for this procurement is not disclosed in the posted materials; vendors must access the in-browser BidTable through the BONFIRE registration process to obtain detailed project specifications and pricing requirements. DART reserves the right to terminate orders for default or for convenience at the Authority's discretion when deemed in its best interest.
