About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is procuring a single glass station component with specifications of 39" x 14.50" x 3/8" thick clear glass through this purchase order opportunity. This procurement is governed by DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which establish the framework for all transactions with the Authority. The deliverable consists of the specified glass panel meeting the dimensional and material specifications outlined in the bid table, which prospective vendors must access through the Bonfire registration system. The primary objectives include obtaining the glass component on a timely basis with FOB Destination shipping terms included in the overall price, with delivery timing and rate being essential to the order such that failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. Vendors must ensure compliance with all DART terms and conditions, including warranty provisions covering merchantable quality and suitability for intended use, and must be capable of delivering within the specified timeframe. The opportunity was posted on February 12, 2026, with a bid due date of February 27, 2026. Prospective bidders must register with Bonfire to access the complete project details and bid table to submit their responses.
The procurement documents do not specify any set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or restrictions on types of organizations that may respond to this opportunity. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available documentation. DART's payment terms are Net 30, with invoices to be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and payment occurring 30 days from invoice receipt or order receipt, whichever is later, unless alternative terms have been agreed upon in writing. All pricing must include applicable federal, state, and local taxes, and vendors are prohibited from assigning the order without DART's written consent. Disputes are resolved through a structured process with the Contracting Officer's decision being final unless appealed within 30 days, with all matters governed by Texas law and venue established in Dallas County. No award value or budget range is specified in the available procurement documentation.
