About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking procurement for glass, panel, low floor windscreen components, specifically referencing product code 9.3-11-1 with film 09-630-020. This solicitation is a purchase order opportunity located in Dallas County, Texas, with a posted date of July 23, 2025, and a proposal submission deadline of August 8, 2025. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access full bid details and must submit responses through the in-browser BidTable window. The procurement requires strict adherence to DART's purchase order terms, including FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price. Vendors must ensure precise delivery timing, as failure to meet specified delivery rates could result in rejection and default termination. Key submission requirements include providing detailed invoices with specific information such as purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

The contract opportunity does not explicitly specify set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises. Vendors must comply with several important contractual conditions, including DART's net 30 payment terms and submission of invoices to APInvoices@dart.org. Unique certification requirements include verifying that the vendor is not listed on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with contracts with foreign terrorist organizations and affirming that the vendor does not boycott Israel. While specific award values are not disclosed, vendors should be prepared to provide high-quality, merchantable products that meet precise technical specifications for low floor windscreen components. The procurement appears focused on replacement or supplemental glass panels for DART's transit infrastructure, suggesting potential integration with existing vehicle or transit system components. Interested vendors must demonstrate technical capability, compliance with specified terms, and ability to meet stringent delivery and quality requirements.
