About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Authority is seeking to procure specific glass materials through a purchase order for goods, specifically 3/8" thick glass with dimensions of 34.5" x 14.5", referenced by solicitation number 2094855. The procurement opportunity is located in Dallas County, Texas, and requires mandatory Bonfire registration to access detailed bidding information. Potential vendors must submit their responses by September 5, 2025, with careful attention to specific procurement terms including freight and delivery requirements. Bidders are mandated to use FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs incorporated into the overall pricing, and must understand that delivery timing is critical, with potential order termination for failure to meet specified delivery rates. DART will evaluate submissions based on compliance with detailed purchase order terms and conditions, including precise invoicing requirements, material specifications, and adherence to the authority's standard procurement protocols.
The procurement opportunity does not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises in the provided documentation. Vendors must comply with equal opportunity requirements and provide certifications regarding non-association with foreign terrorist organizations and commitments against boycotting Israel. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org and include specific detailed documentation such as purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. While a specific budget range is not disclosed, vendors should prepare comprehensive responses that demonstrate capability to meet DART's precise material specifications and rigorous procurement standards. The authority reserves the right to reject submissions that do not meet all specified technical and administrative requirements, with potential for default termination if vendor performance fails to meet contractual expectations.

Invoices shall be submitted (APInvoices@dart.org) in triplicate (one copy shall be marked 'Original"), unless otherwise specified, and shall contain the following information: purchase order number; item number; purchase order description of supplies, services, or construction; sizes; quantities; unit prices; and extended totals. In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12.
