Estimated quantities include 400 units each of 4-cable hairpins, lockplates, and line posts; 10 terminal sections; 160 J-bolts; 10 units each of both weak and standard configuration terminal posts; 5 units each of cable release and anchor posts; 40 anchor terminal fittings; 50 cable splice turnbuckles; 4,000 linear feet of pre-stretched cable; 10 units each of 15-inch sockets with and without mow strips; and miscellaneous hardware including keeper wire, acorn nuts, excluder caps, post caps, delineator markers, and tension meters in quantities ranging from 2 to 100 units. The bid must be submitted exclusively through the Kentucky Vendor Self Service (VSS) eProcurement system at https://vss.ky.gov by October 30, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time, with a public bid reading conducted via conference line at 3:00 p.m. on the same date. The master agreement will become effective no earlier than November 1, 2024, and extend through October 31, 2025, with an option to renew for four additional one-year periods by mutual written agreement of both parties. Pricing shall be submitted on the attached Bid Sheet as F.O.B. Destination Freight Prepaid and Allowed, with vendors responsible for all freight charges and claims, and the contract minimum order value is set at $10,000 for delivery orders. The contract is available for use by KYTC Districts 1-12 and may be extended to other state agencies and political subdivisions with vendor consent. Resident bidder preferences and qualified bidder preferences apply in accordance with Kentucky Revised Statutes. All bidders must be registered in the eProcurement system, submit required affidavits, and comply with Commonwealth procurement laws and regulations.
