Opportunity text

Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued to establish a contract with one or more qualified suppliers who will provide GHC Pediatric Simulator to the Georgia Highlands College (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFQ. Georgia Highlands College is seeking to obtain a Gaumard pediatric tetherless simulator for our multiple room pediatric labs on Georgia Highlands College Heritage Hall campus. Gaumard brand is being requested as it is the only teatherless and wireless simulator. We utilize multiple rooms for student instruction, so being able to easily transport to another room without having to reconnect will ensure efficiency and functional consistency for faculty and staff as they utilize the equipment for instruction. It also has dynamic facial expressions, movement, and speech. This makes the Gaumard brand the most life like and will integrate specific to the curriculum for GHC students. The award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible Offeror providing Gaumard pediatric tetherless simulators. The Offeror will guarantee that equipment will be delivered and installed to Georgia Highlands College, Heritage Hall Campus, 1415 E 3rd Avenue, Rome, GA 30161. Overview of the eRFQ Process The objective of the eRFQ is to select one or more qualified suppliers to provide the goods and/or services outlined in this eRFQ to the State Entity. This eRFQ process will be conducted to gather and evaluate responses from supplier for potential award. All qualified suppliers are invited to participate by submitting responses, as further defined below. After evaluating all suppliers¿ responses received prior to the closing date of this eRFQ and resolution of any contract exceptions, the preliminary results of the eRFQ process will be publicly announced, including the names of all participating suppliers and the evaluation results. Subject to the protest process, final contract award(s) will be publicly announced thereafter.
