About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has issued a procurement opportunity for a GATE, TIP SECTION, FIBERGLASS, 12 FEET, with solicitation number 2096540. The procurement is specifically focused on acquiring a 12-foot fiberglass gate component, targeted for use within Dallas County, Texas. The contract opportunity was posted on December 11, 2025, with proposal submissions due by December 18, 2025. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access full bid details and must submit responses through the platform's in-browser BidTable window. Critical procurement requirements include adherence to FOB Destination shipping terms, with freight costs integrated into the overall price, and compliance with DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org, including specific documentation such as purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.
No specific set-aside designations or enterprise restrictions were explicitly detailed in the provided documentation. While the solicitation does not highlight specific vendor qualifications beyond standard commercial capabilities, vendors must demonstrate ability to meet stringent delivery requirements, as time and delivery rates are considered essential contract elements. Failure to deliver according to specified terms could result in contract rejection or default termination. The procurement follows standard Net 30 payment terms, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt. While a precise award value was not specified, the procurement appears to be for a specific equipment component with potential for precise budget alignment. Vendors should note that all contractual disputes will be governed by Texas law, with venue established in Dallas County, and all modifications require written approval from DART's Contracting Officer.
